Cricut Vinyl Wine Glasses

Holiday season is upon us and we are all going to the fun Ugly Sweater Christmas Parties, and Work holiday parties, and family get together.  If you are like me you want to give your host a little something to make them feel special for all their hard work preparing for their party. Well why not give them a 4 set of Wine Glasses with some Holiday Cheer.

Pick up some Wine glasses from the store, these here are from Walmart in their 12 Pack. Shoot a 12 pack for $8.98 and you can make 3 sets of gifts with those. Super affordable and fun. You can add different things to each one, but I had decided to go all Matchy Matchy, with these.

So here are the details……

Wine Glasses from Walmart, or where ever you want to get them from.

Cricut White Vinyl  and Transfer Tape

Cricut or whatever Die Cut Machine you want to use

Snowflake Image and cut away and place on your Wine glasses.

One tip I will tell you is that you have to Hand Wash these or you will no longer have beautiful snowflakes on your wine glasses.

Come back on Friday and we will have another fun Cricut Snow craft idea to add to your holiday craft making!

Heat Transfer Vinyl On Wood

Found this piece of Wood and wanted to do something different with it. I have been wanting to try and use Heat Transfer Vinyl on other things then just Tshirts and bags. So why not try it right. You only live once. Plus you then get some new Fall Décor that is always a good thing.

Taking a file from Love SVG which is an Awesome site……Love SVG    which has awesome free SVG’s for personal use, and also there are commercial files as well.

Take out the Cricut or Die Cut machine and play right. Well Kind of. When you upload the image make sure if you are doing the Heat Transfer Vinyl that your image is mirrored.   Now a hint or tip to think of is to make sure you use the Hottest setting on your clothes iron. I did learn that you have to put a lot of pressure on the iron to get the HTV to adhere to the wood. It took a lot of pressure and time to get it to adhere, so I do feel that you have to be patient, compared to when adhereing the HTV to fabric. There is a learning curve on this. The next time I try something like this I want to try to do this to canvas versus wood.

Adoption Card

Adoption is such a beautiful and amazing thing and while we are waiting in our family to our adoption closed and done with, I still have amazing friends that are just recently finalizing their adoptions. I am so happy for them and they deserve to know that they are thought about and cared for with a beautiful adoption card.

Unity Stamp Set has an awesome stamp set (Not Paid Sponsor) called Born In My Heart.                   – See Below for Picture

On this card, I did a basic A2 card, utilizing Honey Comb Embossing folder from Paper Studio and cutting the Pink at 3.75 x 2.5 and Taking the Patterned Paper to 3.75 x 3.5 inches. decorating with a purple ribbon, and edging the papers with a Pink ink.  The Love makes a Family is embossed with Purple Embossing Powder and Distress Embossing Ink.  The dots are actually Tonic Nuvo Crystal Dots Violet Galaxy which adoren the Die Cut images to give a nice frame and makes the card pop!
